It can be used at a variety of places where there is not a direct water line available. Outside a community hall, lawn parties and wedding receptions where activities are held outside come to mind. When they are used as a pair they can offer coffee and hot water for tea, chocolate or hot cider anywhere close to a standard electric circuit. These urns are also great when catering an event where a water source is close by, but not directly available.

This single portable hot water boiler uses electric heat in the bottom and has bottom mounted controls. These controls can be used to boil the water, brew the coffee at the right temperature and keep it at the right temperature or, it keep the water at the right temperature for hot chocolate, tea or cider. Talking about brewing coffee, this coffee urn extracts the rich flavor from each coffee grind and brings out its full taste and aroma.

All the options that are available on this model will require serious thought on how and where you will use this urn. One issue may include security issues that will make it necessary to have a control box, thermostat and lid secured? Another issue may be moving this urn from place and require an acrylic gauge glass for safety or legs tapped for a tie down so that it will not move from a utility cart. Or will hinged lids that are great if you don’t have a place to put them when you want to refill the coffee boiler/urn be of value?
